Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: May 24, 2026

Draft for product readiness. This page is a draft template provided for early-access/product-readiness purposes and is not legal advice. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before any public or commercial launch.
This policy describes how subscription cancellations and refunds are handled for MAi HomeBase (a product of MAi Home Report).

Subscription cancellation

Paid subscriptions can generally be cancelled at any time from your account's billing area. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to paid features typically continues until the end of the current billing period.

Consumer subscriptions

Homeowner plans (for example, Premium and Super Premium) may be cancelled from the billing page. Multi-property and other premium features remain available through the end of the paid period.

Provider subscriptions

Provider plans (Premium and Ultra Premium) may be cancelled from the provider subscription page. Open Marketplace Pool access and other paid features remain available through the end of the paid period.

Billing and payment processing

Billing is handled by third-party payment processors. Charges, invoices, and payment methods are managed through the processor's billing flow.

Refunds

Refunds are not guaranteed except where required by applicable law or expressly stated in a plan's terms. If you believe you were billed in error, contact support and we will review your request.

Plans not yet available

If a plan is not yet available or its billing configuration is incomplete, it will be shown as unavailable or "coming soon" rather than charged. No charge is made when a plan's payment configuration is missing.

Legal review note

This policy is a draft template for product readiness and is not legal advice. Final refund/cancellation wording should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel and reconciled with the live payment-processor and subscription rules before commercial launch.
